Alisha Freitas, DO

Intern

Medical School: Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine - Virginia Campus

Hometown:  Roanoke, VA

Favorite part about being a resident at VCU:  Getting to see a high volume of complex patients at a big academic medical center, strong categorical programs, and having a super welcoming community of residents

Best spot(s) in Richmond:  for food and drink - Sabai, Sub Rosa, Union Market, The Veil, and Scoop; for fun - Pony Pasture and Belle Isle, local bookstores (Fountain and Shelf Life), the VMFA, 3S Yoga, RVA Big Market, and trivia at Starr Hill

Hobbies and Interests:  Exploring local parks and walking trails, baking something in the kitchen, and reading books

Interesting/fun fact about me:  I have over 20 houseplants and hope to have an outdoor garden one day

My superpower would be:  The ability to fluently speak any language
